Main Valve Body Disassembly

CAUTION: Ensure parts (springs, etc.) are not interchanged from their original locations to avoid transmission damage. If available, use Valve Tray Set (J-33163) to hold parts in correct order as removed. If valve tray set is not available, carefully tag each part as removed.

Using Valve Spring Compressor (J-43773) or equivalent, compress control relief spring until retaining clip can be removed. Remove spring and control relief valve. Repeat procedure for exhaust backfill spring and valve. See Figure.
