Engine Coolant Crossover Pipe: Installation

  1. Clean and dry the area before installing new seals.
  2. Install the lower seals into position.
  3. Install the coolant bridge.
  4. Install the upper seals into position.
  5. Install the coolant bridge bolt. Tighten  Tighten the coolant bridge bolt to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).
  6. Connect the electrical connector at the coolant bridge.
  7. Connect the coolant hoses at the coolant bridge.

  8. Install the intake manifold. Refer to INSTALL .
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. Tighten  Tighten the battery terminal bolt to 17 n.M (13 lb ft).
  10. Fill the coolant. Refer to DRAINING THE COOLING SYSTEM .
