Transaxle Oil Cooler Line Seals: Installation

  1. Coat the new cooler line seal with transaxle fluid.
  2. Using the Cooler Line Seal Installer (J-41239-1), install the new cooler line seal. See Fig 1 .
  3. Install transaxle oil cooler line assembly nut and tighten to specification. See Figure and TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Lower vehicle.
  5. Add fluid to transaxle. See CHECKING FLUID LEVELS  under LUBRICATION.
  6. Start engine and check for leaks.
