Transaxle Mount (Left): Installation

  1. Install the 3 left transaxle bracket and bolts. See Figure . Tighten the transaxle bracket bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Install the left transaxle mount and the 4 bolts. See Figure . Tighten the left transaxle mount bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the transaxle mount through bolt. Tighten the transaxle mount through bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Remove the engine support fixture.
  5. Install the air cleaner box.
  6. Install the 3 air cleaner box bolts.
  7. Install the air filter.
  8. Install the air cleaner hose and cap assembly.
  9. Install the IAT sensor.
  10. Connect the IAT connector.
  11. Install the battery tray and battery as follows:
    1. Install the battery into the vehicle. Position the battery into the carrier.
    2. Install the battery hold down bracket. Secure with the bolt. Tighten the battery hold down bracket bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
    3. Connect the positive battery cable to the positive battery terminal. Tighten the positive battery cable-to-battery terminal bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
    4. Install the negative battery cable to the negative battery terminal. Tighten the negative battery cable-to-battery terminal bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  12. Install the hold down bracket.
  13. Install the hold down bracket bolt and nut. Tighten the hold down bracket bolt and nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  14. Install the positive and negative battery cables.
