Removal Procedure

- Identify how to disable high voltage.
- Identify how to test for the presence of high voltage.
- Identify condition under which high voltage is always present and personal protection equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be followed.
- Disable the hybrid high voltage system. Refer to High Voltage Disabling .
- Disconnect the 12-volt battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (HP5) .
- Remove the drive motor generator control module sight shield. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Cover Replacement .
- Remove the power inverter module. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Removal and Installation .
- Reposition the accessory DC power control module mounting plate to gain access to the auxiliary fluid pump control module.
- Disconnect the three electrical connectors from the auxiliary fluid pump control module.
- Remove the two fasteners (1), then remove the module (2) from the mounting plate.

Always perform the High Voltage Disabling procedure prior to servicing any High Voltage component or connection. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and proper procedures must be followed.
