Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (HP5) .

  3. Disconnect the current sensor harness connector (1) from the sensor (2).

  5. Remove the positive battery cable fuse fastener and cable (2) from the fuse.
  6. Remove any tape or retainers from the current sensor and cable. Note the location of the current sensor for assembly.
  7. Slide the current sensor (1) off the cable (2).
