Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the current sensor (1) into position on the cable (2).
  2. Install tape or retainers to the current sensor and cable as noted during removal.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the positive battery cable fuse fastener and cable (2) to the fuse and tighten to 5 N.m (45 lb in).

  4. Connect the current sensor harness connector (1) to the sensor (2).
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (HP5) .
