Removal Procedure

Review the high voltage safety information prior to performing the High Voltage Disabling. Refer to High Voltage Safety .
Perform the High Voltage Disabling procedure. Refer to High Voltage Disabling .
Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (HP5)
Lift the rear compartment floor stowage access cover.
Slide the service disconnect (1) to the unlatched position.

Wait 5 seconds then pull up to remove the service disconnect (1).
