Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement (With Hydraulic Power Steering)

Preliminary Procedures Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection . Remove the steering column upper trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Upper Trim Cover Replacement .
1	Ignition Lock Cylinder Bolt CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Ignition Lock Cylinder Bezel Procedure: Disengage the ignition lock cylinder bezel light from the bezel.
3	Theft Deterrent Module Procedure: Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
4	Ignition Lock Cylinder Procedure Turn the ignition lock cylinder to the run position. Use a small pick type tool to depress the ignition lock cylinder retaining tab and pull it outwards to remove. If installing a new ignition lock cylinder, refer to Key and Lock Cylinder Coding .
