Installation Procedure

  1. Install the evaporator core to the blower case assembly.
  2. Assemble the two halves of the blower case assembly.
  3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  4. Install the screws to retain the two halves of the blower case assembly.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  6. Install the blower motor control module to the blower case assembly.
  7. Install the blower motor control module screws to the blower case assembly.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  9. Install the blower motor to the blower case assembly.
  10. Install the blower motor screws to the blower case assembly.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  11. Install the air inlet assembly. Refer to Air Inlet Assembly Replacement .
  12. Install the evaporator case assembly. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Evaporator Case Assembly Replacement .
  13. Install the HVAC module. Refer to Air Conditioning and Heater Module Assembly Replacement .
