Preliminary Procedures Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging . Remove the A/C compressor. Refer to Compressor Replacement (L61) or Compressor Replacement (L66) or Compressor Replacement (LAT) .
1	Compressor Pressure Relief Valve NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tip: Leak test the fittings of the components using J 39400-A . See Special Tools . Tighten: 8 N.m (70 lb in)

Tip: Leak test the fittings of the components using J 39400-A . See Special Tools .

Tighten: 8 N.m (70 lb in)
