Installation Procedure

  1. Install the automatic transmission control.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the automatic transmission control nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m(18 lb ft).

  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  4. Install the park lock cable to the shift control. Refer to Park Lock Cable Replacement .

  5. Install the range select lever cable to the automatic transmission control.
  6. Install the instrument panel storage compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Storage Compartment Replacement .
  7. Install the console shift lever bezel. Refer to Console Shift Lever Bezel Replacement .
  8. If the shift control knob was previously removed. Refer to Floor Shift Control Knob Replacement .
