Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Saturn Vue. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the transmission control module C1 and C2 connectors.
  2. Install the transmission control module to the transmission control module bracket.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Battery.
    4. IMPORTANT: DTC P0602 is set with all new service transmission control modules. When the transmission control module is reprogrammed with the correct software and calibrations, DTC P0602 will be erased.
  4. Reprogram the transmission control module with the correct calibration. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) .
