2	Verify that the DRL headlamps are on with the parking brake applied. Do the DRL headlamps operate normally with the parking brake applied?	Go to TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITIONS AND POOR CONNECTIONS in Wiring Systems	Go to Step 3

4	Disconnect the park brake switch. Connect a fused jumper wire between the park brake switch signal circuit and the ground circuit. With the scan tool, read the park brake switch status. Does the scan tool display SET?	Go to Step 7	Go to Step 5
5	Test for an open or high resistance in the park brake switch signal circuit or ground circuit. Refer to CIRCUIT TESTING and WIRING REPAIRS in Wiring Systems. Did you find and correct a condition?	Go to Step 10	Go to Step 6
