1	Did you review the Theft Deterrent Description and Operation and perform the necessary inspections?	Go to Step 2	Go to Symptoms - Theft Deterrent
2	Verify that the lights are inoperative in Alarm mode. Does the system operate normally?	Go to Testing for Electrical Intermittents in Wiring Systems	Go to Step 3
3	With the alarm in alarm mode, Test cavity 8 of the Theft Deterrent Module for continuity to ground. Refer to Circuit Testing in Wiring Systems. Is continuity to ground present?	Go to Step 4	Go to Step 5
4	Repair the open in the hazard lamp signal circuit between cavity 8 of the Theft Deterrent Module and splice 216. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems. Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 6	-
5	Replace the Theft Deterrent Control Module. Refer to Theft Deterrent Control Module Replacement . Did you complete the repair?	Go to Step 6	-
