Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the front seat assembly. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUCKET  .
  2. Remove the front seat head restraint. Refer to HEAD RESTRAINT REPLACEMENT - FRONT SEAT  .
  3. Remove the seat adjuster track covers (7). Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (OUTBOARD)  or SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (INBOARD)  .
  4. Remove the bolts (3) from the seat back assembly (1).
  5. Remove seat back assembly (1) from the seat adjuster (10).
  6. Remove the driver seat inflatable restraint, if necessary. Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (SIDE IMPACT AIR BAG) .
