Installation Procedure

  1. Install the recirculation door (1) into the recirculation housing (2).

  2. Align the retaining tabs and install the recirculation housing (2) to the HVAC module.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the recirculation housing screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in).

  4. Connect the recirculation actuator plunger rod to the recirculation actuator lever.
  5. Position the recirculation actuator on to the mounting slides of the HVAC module assembly.
  6. Ensure that the lock tab locks the recirculation actuator in place.

    Important:  inspect for binding at the recirculation actuator lever.

  7. Connect the vacuum line to the recirculation actuator.
  8. Install the HVAC module. Refer to HVAC Module Assembly Replacement  .
