Removal Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Important: In cold weather, if the instrument panel (I/P) pad is not at room temperature, warm the I/P pad around the air outlet deflector. This will allow the I/P pad to become pliable for removal of the air outlet deflector.
- If you will reuse the existing air outlet deflector, wrap the ends of the needle nose pliers with tape in order to avoid marring the surface of the deflector.
- Remove the air outlet deflector from the I/P by pulling from the right and left side of the deflector.
