J 5403 Snap Ring Pliers

Coat the O-rings with 525 viscosity refrigeration oil.
Using thumb pressure, push the O-rings in place.
Install the valve into the case.
Important: Ensure that the retaining ring is properly seated in the ring groove.
Using the J 5403 , install the valve retaining ring (5) with the high point of the curved sides against the valve housing.
Perform a leak test. Refer to Compressor Leak Testing (V5 - Conventional Mount) or Compressor Leak Testing (V5 Direct Mount) .
