Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery And Recharging  .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly.
  3. Remove the vacuum brake booster. Refer to POWER BRAKE BOOSTER .
  4. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve bracket. Refer to BRAKE PRESSURE MODULATOR VALVE (BPMV) BRACKET REPLACEMENT .
  5. Remove the accumulator tube clip.

  7. Loosen the accumulator tube nut at the accumulator tube (2).
  8. Disconnect the accumulator tube from the accumulator tube.

  9. Remove the accumulator tube to evaporator core block fitting bolt.
  10. Disconnect the accumulator tube from the evaporator.
  11. Remove the accumulator tube tube.
  12. Remove the O-ring seal and discard.
