EGR Valve: Installation

  1. Clean EGR valve gasket surfaces. Install EGR valve using NEW gasket, and ensuring EGR valve is oriented correctly. See Fig 1.
  2. Tighten EGR valve mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect EGR valve harness connector. Connect negative battery cable.

  1. Clean EGR valve gasket surfaces. Install EGR valve using NEW gasket, and ensuring EGR valve is oriented correctly. See Fig 1.
  2. Tighten EGR valve mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Connect EGR valve harness connector. Connect negative battery cable.
