Installation Procedure

  1. Install the passenger seat belt pretensioner (1) to the passenger seat bottom frame.
  2. Install the passenger seat belt pretensioner wiring harness (2) through the passenger seat bottom frame.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the nut (1) to the passenger seat belt pretensioner.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut to 35 N.m (26 Ib. ft).

  4. Install the passenger seat adjuster track cover (1). Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT .
  5. Install the passenger front seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - BUCKET .
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to Enabling the SIR System .
