Turn Signal Switch Housing - Disassemble - Off Vehicle (Aurora)

CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION .
  1. Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the upper tilt head components. Refer to Turn Signal Cancel Cam and Upper Bearing Inner Race - Disassemble - Off Vehicle  .
  3. If necessary, disconnect the connector from the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly.
  4. Remove the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly in the following way:
    1. 4.1. Press on the locking tabs of the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly.
    2. 4.2. Pull the windshield wiper and washer switch assembly out of the turn signal switch housing.

  5. Remove the 2 pan head tapping screws (1).
  6. Remove the turn signal switch housing (2).
