Shift Lever - Assemble - Off Vehicle

  1. Install the shift lever (4) and secure it with the shift lever screw (3). Tighten the screw to 20 N.m (15 ft lbs).
  2. Slide the shift lever seal (2) down the shift lever (4).
  3. Install the upper and lower trim cover assembly. Refer to the Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble - Off Vehicle .
  4. Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
