Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the outlet heater hose (1) to the outlet port of the heater core.
  2. Lower the vehicle.
  3. Connect the outlet heater hose to the outlet port of the engine.

  4. Use the J 38185  in order to reposition the heater hose clamps.
  5. Fill the engine coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM (L61) in Engine Cooling.
