Retrieving Diagnostic Trouble Codes

Using scan tool, retrieve DTCs. If DTCs are present, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE INDEX . Diagnose and repair as necessary. After repairs, clear DTCs. See CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES . If no DTCs are present, attempt diagnosis by symptom. See SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
