Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

To clear DTCs, use scan tool and follow manufacturers instructions. The DTC will clear automatically if PCM no longer detects a failure, but will remain in PCM history. DTC history will clear after 40 consecutive warm-up cycles without a malfunction.
