Test N: Driver Information Center Switches Inoperative: Testing

  1. Turn ignition on. Press each of Driver Information Center (DIC) switches. If displays toggles between functions. No problem is indicated at this time. See DIAGNOSING INTERMITTENTS  . If display does not toggle between functions, go to next step.
  2. Replace DIC display module. See DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER (DIC) DISPLAY MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to next step.
  3. Connect all disconnected components. Check system for proper operation. If system operates properly, test is complete. If system does not operate properly, go to step  1 .
