Removal & Installation ("F" Body 5.7L)
- Remove pump pulley (if necessary). See POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY . Remove pressure and return hoses from pump.
- Remove pump mounting bolts. Remove front bracket. Remove pump assembly from rear bracket.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Fill and bleed hydraulic system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING under LUBRICATION. Fill and bleed engine cooling system. See appropriate article in ENGINE COOLING.
