Instrument Cluster Trim Plate: Installation

Align instrument panel cluster trim plate (2) to instrument panel retainers. See Figure . Carefully press instrument panel cluster trim plate to secure trim plate to instrument panel retainers.
Install steering column tilt lever. Return steering column to original position. If equipped with column shift, return shift lever to "P" position and push to release parking brake. On all models, return instrument panel steering column opening filler panel to proper position.
Install and finger tighten instrument panel steering column opening filler panel screws. Tighten right-side instrument panel steering column opening filler screw first, to properly install instrument panel steering column opening filler panel. Tighten right-side instrument panel steering column opening filler panel screw to 17 INCH lbs. (1.9 N.m). Tighten left side instrument panel steering column opening filler panel screw to 17 INCH lbs. (1.9 N.m).
