Service Engine Soon Warning Indicator

SERVICE ENGINE SOON warning indicator is controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM). PCM will illuminate indicator when engine is started for indicator check. This warning indicator is part of On-Board Diagnostics II (OBD II) system, and will flash or remain on steady when a malfunction or trouble code(s) exists.
