Anti-Lock Brake System Warning Indicator
Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) warning indicator is controlled by Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM). EBCM will turn on indicator light for about 3 seconds when ignition switch is turned to RUN position for indicator check. If anti-lock brake system malfunctions, EBCM turns on ABS warning light. If ABS light is flashing, anti-lock is disabled and standard brakes may be affected. Vehicle should be towed for immediate service. If ABS light is steady and BRAKE warning light is not on, anti-lock is disabled and normal brake system is unaffected.
