Enabling SIR System

  1. Turn ignition off. Reconnect Yellow SIR connector near base of steering column. Install AIR BAG (SIR) fuse and left side lower trim panel.
  2. Turn ignition switch to RUN position and ensure INFL REST warning indicator light flashes 7-9 times and then goes off. SIR system is now reactivated. If indicator light does not flash as described, SIR system is malfunctioning.
