Stabilizer Bar: Installation

  1. Apply rubber grease to stabilizer bar bushing locations. Position bar-to-frame bushings with slit toward front of vehicle.
  2. Place stabilizer bar in position on frame and install frame brackets over bushings. Ensure brackets are positioned properly over bushings.
  3. Install bolts and nuts finger tight. Install pivot bolts and washers through stabilizer bar bushings and into lower spring anchor plates. See Fig 1 . Tighten all nuts and bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  at end of article. Lower vehicle.
