Brake Rotor & Hub Assembly: Installation

  1. If bearing races were removed, use Driver Handle (J-8092 ) and Front Axle Bearing Race Installer (J-6368 ) to install outer wheel bearing race into hub. Install inner race using driver handle and Front Axle Bearing Race Installer (J-23448 ).
  2. Pack wheel bearings with lithium grease and install in hub. Position hub and rotor assembly onto spindle. Install adjusting nut and adjust wheel bearings. See WHEEL BEARING  under ADJUSTMENTS in this article. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
