Preliminary Procedure Remove the appropriate intake air splash shield: For LSY engine refer to Intake Air Splash Shield Replacement . For LGX engine refer to Intake Air Splash Shield Replacement .
1	Hood Secondary Latch Release Cable Bolt [2x] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Hood Secondary Latch Release Cable Procedure Disconnect the release cable from the hood primary latch. Remove the hood secondary latch release cable from under the front bumper fascia support. Align the hood secondary latch release cable latch if necessary.

Hood Secondary Latch Release Cable

Procedure

Disconnect the release cable from the hood primary latch.
Remove the hood secondary latch release cable from under the front bumper fascia support.
Align the hood secondary latch release cable latch if necessary.
