Installation Procedure

Place a bead 8 mm (0.3150 in) in width by 4 mm (0.1575 in) in height of RTV sealant equivalent, on the engine front cover split lines (1). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Camshaft Cover Seal (2) - Install a NEW seal.
- Camshaft Cover (3) - Install
- Camshaft Cover Bolt (4) - Loosely install [ 18x ]
- Camshaft Cover Bolt (4) - Tighten in the sequence shown. [ 18x ] 15 N.m (11 lb-ft)
- Position and install the engine wiring harness to the camshaft cover.
Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid (2) - Install - Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Intake
Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid (2) - Install - Camshaft Position Actuator Valve Solenoid Replacement - Bank 2 (Left Side) Exhaust
Ignition Coil (2) - Install [ 3x ] - Ignition Coil Replacement - Bank 2
- Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube @ Camshaft Cover - Connect
Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator- Left Side (1) - Install - Camshaft Housing Cover Insulator Replacement - Left Side
