Installation Procedure

    With the aid of an assistant, install the rear compartment lid (2).

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications 
  3. Adjust if necessary. - Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment

    Install the rear compartment lid latch and handle (3).

  5. Install the auxiliary rear compartment latch release handle (1).
  6. Rear Compartment Lid Latch Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Install the 4 rear compartment lid bumpers (1).

    Low Frequency Rear Compartment Antenna Bracket (2) - Install

  9. Low Frequency Rear Compartment Antenna Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] -

    Fastener Specifications

    Rear License Plate Lamp Module (1) - Install

    Secure the retaining tabs on the rear license plate lamp module (1).

  12. Connect the electrical connector.

    Rear License Plate Lamp Module Lamp Nut (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

    Rearview Driver Information Camera (2) - Install

  15. Rearview Camera Nut (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications , or Fastener Specifications
  16. Connect all electrical connectors and install the wiring harness.

    NOTE:

    Ensure the auxiliary rear compartment latch release handle is routed through the rear compartment lid inner panel trim.

    Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim (1) - Install

    Rear Compartment Lid Latch Cover (1) - Install

    Install the left and right side rear compartment lid hinge covers (2)

  20. Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Cover Retainer (1) - Install

    Rear Compartment Side Trim Insulator Retainer (1) - Install [4x]

  22. Install the left and right side rear compartment side trim panel (2)

    Rear End Trim Finish Panel (1) - Install

    Rear Compartment Floor Panel Trim (1) - Install

    Cargo Tie Down Loop (3) - Install [2x]

  27. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  28. Cargo Tie Down Loop Bolt Cap (1) - Install [2x]

    The painted surface must be clean and dry before installation of a new rear end spoiler (1).

    1. Temperature ranges required for installation of the rear end spoiler (1) are 16°C (60°F) - 43°C (110°F).
    2. General surface contaminants such as dirt, dust, fingerprints, moisture, oil, etc., can be removed with a dry cleaning cloth from 3M (Scotch Brite High Performance Cloth), or Contec (Thunderbolt Cloth).
  30. Rear End Spoiler (1) - Install NEW
