Rear Compartment Lid Adjustment
Use a small flat-bladed tool to pull and release the rear compartment lid latch cover (1).
- Rear Compartment Lid Latch Cover (1) - Remove
Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to disengage the push-in retainers from the sheet metal.
- Rear Compartment Lid Inner Panel Trim (1) - Remove
- Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Bolt - Loosen [4x]
Adjust the rear compartment lid in order to obtain an even gap between the lid and the quarter outer panel, the tail lamp and rear bumper fascia and so that the lid is flush with the quarter outer panel, the rear body structure stop lamp and rear bumper fascia.
- Rear compartment lid to quarter outer panel (a) 3.5 mm ±.75 mm (0.13 in ± 0.03 in)
- Rear compartment lid to rear body structure stop lamp (b) 3.6 mm ± 1 mm (0.14 in ± 0.04 in)
- Rear compartment lid to rear bumper fascia (c) 3.5 mm ±.1.0 mm (0.13 in ± 0.04 in)
- Rear Compartment Lid Hinge Bolt - Tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Adjust the rear compartment lid bumpers as necessary to obtain the adjustment.
- NOTE:
Ensure the auxiliary rear compartment latch release handle is routed through the rear compartment lid inner panel trim.
