Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove [6x]

  3. Front Compartment Air Deflector Bolt- Left Side and Right Side (3) - Remove [6x]
  4. Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer- Left Side and Right Side (2) - Remove [2x]

    Front Compartment Air Deflector- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Remove

    Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  7. Support the front cradle shear plate using a suitable jack.

    Front Cradle Shear Plate Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  9. Front Cradle Shear Plate Nut (2) - Remove [2x]
  10. Front Crossmember Brace Bolt (3) - Remove [8x]

    Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]

  12. GM5877068

    Position the left and right side wheelhouse liners (1) away from the front cradle sheer plate (2).

  13. Remove the front cradle sheer plate (2) from between the front bumper fascia center air deflector and the driveline and front suspension cradle and lower it from the vehicle.
  14. GM5868049

    Disconnect the electrical connector.

  15. Engine Oil Pressure Sensor (1) - Remove
