Installation Procedure
Engine Oil Level Indicator Switch (3) - Install
- Engine Oil Level and Temperature Sensor Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Engine Oil Level Sensor Lead Clip (1) - Install
Crankshaft Oil Deflector (2) - Install
- Oil Pan Baffle Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
EN-46109 Guide Pin (1) - Install [2x]
- NOTE:
- Install and align the front cover within 10 minutes of applying the sealer.
- Ensure proper use of room temperature vulcanizing (RTV) sealant. Use of Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) and Anaerobic Sealant
Apply a 3 mm (0.118 in) bead of RTV sealant on the engine front cover (1). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
- Apply a 5 mm (0.197 in) bead of RTV sealant on the engine front cover (2). Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
Oil Pan (1) - Install
Oil Pan Bolt (3, 2, 1) - Install and hand tighten [11x]
- EN-46109 Guide Pin (1) - Remove [2x]
- Oil Pan Bolt (2) - Install and hand tighten [2x]
- Oil Pan Bolt (3, 2, 1) - Tighten in sequence [13x] - Fastener Specifications
- Connect the electrical connector.
Transmission Stud (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
Catalytic Converter Brace (2) - Install
- Catalytic Converter Brace Bracket Nut (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
Oil Filter Adapter Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Engine Oil Cooler Adapter (1) - Install
Engine Oil Cooler Adapter Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe (2) @ Oil Filter Adapter - Install
- Retaining Clip (1) - Install
Radiator Outlet Hose (4) @ Engine Oil Cooler Adapter - Install
- Radiator Outlet Hose Clamp (3) @ Engine Oil Cooler Adapter - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed Lower Hose (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler Adapter - Install
- Turbocharger Coolant Feed Hose Clamp (1) @ Engine Oil Cooler Adapter - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe (2) - Install
- Retaining Clip (1) - Install
Engine Oil Cooler Pipe (2) @ Engine Oil Cooler Adapter - Install
- Retaining Clip (1) - Install
- NOTE:

Engine Mount Bracket (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .
Engine Mount Bracket Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Engine Mount (1) - Install
- Lower the engine.
Engine Mount Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Engine Mount Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Install transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe.
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (1) - Install
- Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Connector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe as necessary.
- NOTE:

Engine Mount Bracket (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Refer to Torque-to-Yield Fastener Caution .
Engine Mount Bracket Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
Engine Mount (1) - Install
- Lower the engine.
Engine Mount Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Engine Mount Bolt (1) - Install NEW and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
- Remove the engine support fixture. Engine Support Fixture
Engine Front Cover (1) - Install - Engine Front Cover Removal and Installation
Oil Level Indicator Tube (1) - Install
Oil Level Indicator Tube Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Oil Level Indicator (1) - Install
Auxiliary Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (4) - Install
- Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (3) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Fill the engine oil to the proper level with NEW engine oil. Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement
