Installation Procedure

  1. Remove the plug from the rear brake caliper inlet.
  2. Remove the plug from the rear brake hose outlet.
  3. GM5443095

    Rear Brake Hose Fitting Gasket (2) - Install NEW [2x]

  4. Rear Brake Hose (3) - Install
    5. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  5. Rear Brake Hose Fitting (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  6. Remove the plug from the rear brake hose inlet.
  7. Remove the cap from the rear brake pipe outlet.
  8. GM5319712

    Rear Brake Hose Retainer (2) - Install

  9. Rear Brake Pipe Nut - (1) Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  10. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  11. Bleed the brake system. Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (JE5, J6G) , or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (J55) 
  12. Check for brake system leaks.
  13. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  14. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
