Installation Procedure

  1. GM5406711

    Engine Cooler Fan (3) @ Engine Radiator (1) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Engine Coolant Fan Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  3. GM5499729

    Auxiliary Radiator Inlet Pipe (3) - Move into position

  4. Auxiliary Radiator Outlet Pipe Clip (2) - Install [2x]
  5. Air Conditioning Condenser Tube Clip (1) @ Engine Cooler Fan - Install

    Install the air cleaner (1) and air cleaner outlet duct (2) as an assembly.

    Engine Wiring Harness (3) - Move into position

  8. Wiring Harness Retainer (2) @ Air Cleaner Assembly - Install [4x]
    9. CAUTION:

    Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .

  9. Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Clamp (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications
  10. GM5479536

    Electrical Connector (4) - Connect [2x]

  11. Positive Crankcase Ventilation Tube (3) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  12. Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (2) - Connect - Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
  13. Air Cleaner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

    Engine Coolant Fan Electrical Connector (3) @ Forward Lamp Wiring Harness (4) - Connect

  15. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Bracket (2) - Reposition
  16. Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  17. GM5427430

    Radiator Upper Bracket (2) - Install [2x]

  18. Radiator Upper Bracket Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  19. Wiring Harness Retainer (1) - Install
  20. GM5420297

    Radiator Air Upper Baffle (2) - Install

  21. Radiator Air Upper Baffle Retainer (1) - Install [7x]
  22. Raise the vehicle.

    Radiator Air Lower Seal Retainer (1) - Install [4x]

    Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector (1) - Install

  25. GM5407644

    Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Retainer (3) - Install [2x]

  26. Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
  27. Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  28. GM5468709

    Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications

  29. GM5407645

    Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Install and tighten [10x] - Fastener Specifications .

  30. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
