Installation Procedure

Maneuver the air conditioning compressor (3) into the engine compartment.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Air Conditioning Compressor Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Air Conditioning Compressor Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

CAUTION:
Refer to Air Conditioning Sealing Washers Oil or Lubricant Exposure Caution .

Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Seal (3) - Install NEW
Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Seal (2) - Install NEW
Air Conditioning Evaporative Connector Hose/Tube and Compressor Hose (1) @ Air Conditioning Compressor - Install

Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

Connect the electrical connectors. (1) [3x]

Accessory Drive Primary Belt (1) - Install

Use the appropriate tool, rotate the drive belt tensioner (1) counterclockwise to install accessory drive primary belt on the tensioner.
Release the tension on the drive belt tensioner.

Front Compartment Air Deflector (2) - Install
Front Compartment Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

Engine Front Splash Shield (3) - Install
Engine Front Splash Shield Screw (1) - Install [5x] - Fastener Specifications
Front Compartment Air Deflector Retainer (2) - Install [2x]

Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
Install the left front tire and wheel. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Lower the vehicle.
Recharge the refrigerant. Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging
Inspect for refrigerant leaks.
