Installation Procedure

    Rear Shock Absorber (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Rear Suspension Shock Absorber Upper Mounting Nut (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications 

  3. Electrical Connector (2) - Connect

    CAUTION:

    This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

    Rear Shock Absorber Bolt (2) @ Rear Suspension Lower Control Arm (3) - Install NEW and tighten - Fastener Specifications 

  5. Remove the jack from beneath the rear suspension lower control arm.

    Rear Suspension Lower Control Arm Cover (2) - Install

  7. Install the 4 rear spring pins (1).

    Rear Wheelhouse Liner (5) - Install

  9. Retainer (3) - Install [2x]
  10. Push Pin (1) - Install
  11. Rear Bumper Fascia Screw (4) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  12. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Screw (2) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications

    Rear Tire Front Air Deflector (2) - Install

  14. Rear Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  15. Install the rear tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  16. Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
