Installation Procedure

Front Lower Control Front Link (1) - Install

CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.

Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (2) - Install NEW
Front Lower Control Arm Front Nut (1) - Install

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Front Lower Control Arm Front Bolt (2) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

NOTE:
Do NOT allow the ball stud to rotate while tightening the nut.

Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

Install the left side charge air cooler assembly (1) to the vehicle.

Charge Air Cooler Bracket Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
Charge Air Cooler Upper Bracket Nut (1) - Tighten - Fastener Specifications

Install the retainer (1) into the auxiliary water pump outlet upper hose connector.
Install the auxiliary water pump outlet upper hose (2) to the left side charge air cooler ensuring that the retainer (1) is fully engaged.
Radiator Outlet Hose Clip (3) - Install

Install the retainer (1) into the auxiliary radiator outlet hose connector.
Install the auxiliary radiator outlet hose (2) to the left side charge air cooler ensuring that the retainer (1) is fully engaged.

Auxiliary Radiator Front Duct- Left Side (1) - Install

Front Bumper Impact Bar (2) - Install
Front Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [8x] - Fastener Specifications
Install the wiring harness.

Install the 2 chassis harness retainers (1).
Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
Fill the cooling system to the proper level. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L3B GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LF4 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LF4 GE 47716)
Start the engine and check for coolant leaks.
