Circuit/System Description

Circuit Description
Signal circuit The output circuit is switched to 12 V to activate the component.
Ground The control module input circuit has an internal resistance connected to ground.
Component Description
K36 Restraints Control Module The control module monitors several sensors that can detect a collision. When a collision is detected, the control module will trigger certain air bags and seat belt pretensioners, depending on the angle and severity of the impact.
S40 Passenger Air Bag Disable Switch The assembly contains 1 individual switches.Each function has its own switch. The switches are connected to a resistor ladder so that a specific resistance is generated for each switch.
