Removal Procedure

- Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding (1) - Remove - Front Side Door Sill Garnish Molding Replacement
Reposition carpet to access the electrical connector and disconnect.
- Reposition the lower portion of the front side door weatherstrip - body side and reposition the sill trim plate wire harness.
- With a suitable plastic flat bladed tool start at either end and release the 4 front side door sill trim plate spring clips.
- Use a heat gun or equivalent to remove the front side door sill trim plate (1). Use a plastic flat bladed tool to assist in removal.
- Clean any remaining residue with a 50/50 mixture by volume of isopropyl alcohol and clean drinkable water. Wipe surface dry with a clean lint-free towel.
- When removing protective liners from the adhesive tape, be careful not to touch tape with hands and do not allow tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion.
