Installation Procedure

    Front Floor Console Armrest (1) - Install

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Front Floor Console Armrest Hinge Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console Cup Holder (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Armrest Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications 

  5. Front Floor Console Cup Holder Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications 
  6. Install the lens of the front floor console bin lamp (3) to the front floor console cup holder.

    Connect the electrical connector.

  8. Multimedia Receptacle (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Left Side (1) - Install

    Front Floor Console Cup Holder Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications

    Front Floor Console Extension Panel - Right Side (1) - Install

  12. Return the seat to its original position.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:

    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Apply thread locking adhesive to the external threads of the components. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
    4. Ensure there are no gaps in the thread locking adhesive once applied to the component.
  18. Position the transmission control lever boot and knob assembly (1, 2) on the manual transmission control lever.
  19. Manual Transmission Control Lever Knob Bolt (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications .
  20. Install the manual transmission control lever boot (2) to the console.

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Insert the rear of the front floor console accessory power rear receptacle retainer (1) into the armrest compartment and tilt it up and into the compartment.

    NOTE:

    Align the tab with the armrest compartment opening and insert the front floor console accessory power rear receptacle retainer (1).

    Route the connector through the Front Floor Console Accessory Power Rear Receptacle Retainer. Align the retainer to the slot in the opening.

  24. Install the retainer by pressing into place until fully seated.
  25. Connect the electrical connector to the accessory power receptacle (1).
  26. Align the tabs on the receptacle (1) to the slots in the retainer. Install the accessory power receptacle by pressing into place until fully seated.
  27. Close the front floor console cup holder door.
  28. Install the auxiliary power outlet fuse.
