Installation Procedure
- CAUTION:
Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Caution .
Engine Coolant Heater (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Engine Coolant Heater Cord (1) @ Engine Coolant Heater (2) - Connect
Install the generator (1) with the lower generator mounting bolt (2).

Refer to Fastener Caution
Generator Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Generator Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Auxiliary Generator Battery Jumper Cable (2) - Install
- Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) @ Generator - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket (2) - Install
- Radiator Inlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Install the air conditioning compressor hose bracket into position.
- Air Conditioning Evaporator Tube Clip Bracket Bolt (4) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (2) @ Charge Air Cooler (3) - Install
- Retainer Spring (1) - Engage
Front Wheelhouse Liner (3) - Install
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Retainer (2) - Install [4x]
- Front Wheelhouse Liner Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [7x] - Fastener Specifications
Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Screw (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Replacement (without Blackwing) , or Front Bumper Fascia Center Air Deflector Replacement (with Blackwing)
- Front Bumper Fascia Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Engine Front Splash Shield (3) - Install
- Engine Front Splash Shield Retainer (2) - Engage [2x]
- Engine Front Splash Shield Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [5x] - Fastener Specifications
Front Tire Front Air Deflector (2) - Install
- Front Tire Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. - Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Lower the vehicle.
Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (2) @ Throttle Body - Install
- Retainer Spring (1) - Engage
Install the intake manifold cover (1).
Using an appropriate tool, rotate the drive belt tensioner (1) counterclockwise and hold tension.
Accessory Drive Primary Belt (1) - Install
- Slowly release tension on the accessory drive primary belt.
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY GE 47716) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 Static Fill) , or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LSY with V03 GE 47716)
- Inspect for coolant leaks.
